Ben Briggs is the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Lionville Natural Pharmacy. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, now known as the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. He has been involved in some aspect of pharmacy for over 50 years. His background in pharmacognosy, biochemistry, pharmacology, homeopathy, & functional endocrinology led him to develop a holistic nutritional protocol entitled BENS SELF program.

He has authored numerous articles on Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy, nutrition, and other holistic therapies. He hosted a weekly radio show called “Health Focus on Holistic Medicine” for over 14 years and is a frequently requested presenter to healthcare practitioners, hospitals, & community organizations for seminars, webinars, and in-services.

He has developed numerous compounded formulations including a United States Patent for a transdermal delivery system of a natural antidepressant. Ben continues to maintain a busy private consultation practice for his clients by appointment.

Michael Briggs is the Chief Operating Officer of Lionville Natural Pharmacy. He graduated from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia in 1999 with a Doctor of Pharmacy and became a Certified Nutritional Consultant in 2013. Michael has been a preceptor for the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia since 2007 teaching students the various aspects of community pharmacy.

He has been a contributing editor to the Professional Guide to Complementary & Alternative Therapies, Complementary and Alternative Medicine for Older Adults, and several editions of the Nursing Drug Handbook Series including the Herbal Medicine Handbook, and the Nonprescription Drug Handbook.He has also been published in Pharmacotherapy for the use of IVIG in Streptococcal Shock Syndrome (Cawley MJ, Briggs, M et al. 1999 Sep; 19(9):1094-8).

His specialties include gastrointestinal disorders, sports nutrition, drug/nutrient information, tick-borne illness, addiction, and integrative veterinary medicine. He currently lives in Chester Springs with his wife and 4 children.
